Welcome to Under the Roof Decorating™, a Calgary, Canada based company dedicated to wall decorating.

Under the Roof Decorating Inc. was created in 1996 by interior decorator, Liette Tousignant.

Liette’s decorating philosophy was simple – to help people redecorate their homes by using their own furniture and accessories. Liette’s unique decorating approach quickly gained praise and loyal clients. Under the Roof Decorating was an instant success and has been featured in local media as offering a new, innovative and affordable way to decorate.

One of Liette’s most challenging and time-consuming decorating tasks was hanging artwork. Hanging art perfectly without creating numerous holes in walls was a problem that had Liette looking for a tool – ANY tool – that could help her do the job right - the first time. Realizing nothing was available, Liette and her husband Kelly Krake invented their own tool; Hang & Level™.
